Is beauty truth? (Or truth beauty?)

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 18, 2008:
I believe there is beauty in every truth and truth in every beauty. I believe there is beauty in agony and agony in beauty. It is only now that I understand what "Beauty is in the eye if the beholder" truly means. In certain parts of the world, beauty is in fair skin, long necks, big ear lobes, tiny feet, blond hair, wide hips, small waist... Not everywhere. It all depends, you know? Well, beauty is truth, in some way or another.
